Aarjoo Gupta

A 7 time National Champion who has already attended India Camp twice is a hard-working trainee at Swatantra Boxing and Fitness Academy, Akshardham. She trains under Mr. S.R Singhal.

At the point when someone says boxer, you presumably envision the picture of a heavy man with a super tanned body and tightly laced leather boots. There's no denying the fact that you would be correct yet it isn't the entire picture. In the present scenario, you don't need to be a tall, tough man to box. In fact, you don't even have to be a man at all. More females than ever are getting into the sport.

Aarjoo Gupta, an 18-year-old girl is one such name in the field of boxing. She is a student of 11th standard in Georgi Stoikov Rakovski Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, New Delhi. A 7 time National Champion who has already attended India Camp twice is a hard-working trainee at Swatantra Boxing and Fitness Academy, Akshardham. She trains under Mr. S.R Singhal.

She has always been interested in sports since childhood and she realised that she wants to be a boxer at the age of 5. Boxing teaches young people discipline and work ethic better than any other sport. Many kids in urban areas join boxing gyms to learn how to defend themselves. In addition to promoting physical fitness, training instills confidence, motivation, and especially self-discipline in young boxers.

Aarjoo is a determined girl and is regular to her practice. She is focused to build her stamina and strength as she wants to represent India in Olympics and World Boxing Championship. Like every other sportsperson, she wants to win medals for the country. She wishes to be like her idol, Mary Kom.

Aarjoo believes that boxing helps a person find their inner strength, overcome obstacles and become a winner. In a generation where kids find it difficult to leave behind mobile phones for even a minute, Aarjoo’s dedication is praiseworthy. She is a young talent with full support from family and friends. She will be an example to the parents that physical education and athletics are an important part of child development, and participation in sports has a lasting positive impact on kids.
