Ayushman Agrawal Hingorani

There are a few children who are outstanding in every field and are exceptionally talented. Ayushman Agrawal Hingorani from The Shishukunj International School is one such name. At just the age of fifteen, he already has numerous achievements.

His journey started when he was just six & his parents had bought him a spinning top, namely a Beyblade for the birthday. The Beyblade had a spirit animal, Pegasus and his curious mind having access to the Palmerston North Central Library (New Zealand) plummeted into the vast depth of history and mythology. By the age of 10, he was well versed in ancient European history and by the age of 13, he had completed books present in the syllabus of MA History. This peculiar nature of Ayushman’s mind allowed him to study not only history but science, sociology, philosophy and also current affairs. His academic and competitive journey started in 2012 when he returned to India along with his mother. He participated and excelled at debate & declaration. This ultimately led to his participation in international debate competitions like the WFUNA Model United Nations, being one of the 5 speakers selected to speak in the opening plenary, and receiving multiple awards in national level debate competitions. He represented Indore in the Inter Group JD/JW drill competition, being the only air wing cadet from Indore and bagging the first prize in the category. He is about to participate in an aeromodelling competition to be held at IIT Kanpur. Also, Ayushman with 4 other students made a 40-page document consisting of a blueprint of a space settlement that does not rely on any planet and has sent it to NASA for the space settlement contest. He has gained vast amounts of knowledge in multiple fields whether it be linguistics, anthropology, mass communication or psychology throughout his 15-year journey of life, and dubbed an encyclopedia by friends and family together. It has also allowed him to win numerous certificates. For him learning depended on the subjects and his interests. History was learned entirely through books and watching documentaries, while the skill of debating, knowledge in current affairs, mass communication, and various other fields was due to the help of his mother. Science was introduced by his father in New Zealand while later on in his life it was the school teachers who saw his uncanny talent to absorb facts instantaneously and desire to dive deeper into the subject. NCC supported his dream of joining the National Defense Academy and helped him maintain his daily rigorous morning drill. He learned construction and 'Aeromodelling' through detailed tutorials on YouTube and trial and error. Reading various books helped him gain in-depth knowledge in various fields.

He has multiple certificates of Zonal Excellence, Distinction and Merit in SOF IEO, NCO, NSO. He also has certificates of distinction in the Australian National Chemistry Quiz In 2018 and 2019. Ayushman was also awarded multiple certificates of distinguished performance in ASSET and ATS Silver Scholar. He has also been an outstanding performer in examinations and an active participant in the School Orchestra during the Annual Festival, Inter-School Football tournaments and multiple Certificates of appreciation and excellence for multiple school activities. He has also won multiple awards in declamation and debate along with anchoring various school events.

His achievements also include - Certificate of Merit (Special Mention) in Presidium Model United Nations, Certificate of Merit (High Commendation) in Shishukunj Model United Nations. He was elected to be one of the handfuls of people to speak in the plenary session of WFUNA Model United Nations. Ayushman was also NCC 1 MP AIR SQUADRON Best Cadet and Camp Best Cadet. He represented the Indore Group in NCC Inter-Group Competition JD/JW Drill contingent and bagged the first place.

Ayushman's future endeavor is to serve the nation and humanity as a whole. His message to the youngsters is that they should try everything and remember to push themselves over the limits to achieve what they desire.
